Nokia 2 Smartphone With Dual SIM Support Listed Online for Just $99

Nokia has recently launched the Nokia 7 smartphone with high-end specifications in China. A few leaks also hinted about the possible launch of Nokia 2 and Nokia 9 smartphones in the coming weeks. The renders and benchmark listings already revealed few key details of both these devices. Now, the Nokia 2 pre-order listing on the B&H store revealed the device to cost just $99 (approx Rs. 6,500) in the U.S. However, the listing is now taken down and there is no information about the exact launch date of this new entry-level Nokia smartphone.

If the company officially launches the Nokia 2 at $99, then it becomes the most affordable HMD made Nokia smartphone ever. The Nokia 3 launched alongside the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 is currently the affordable Nokia smartphone. The variant launching in the U.S comes with the model number TA-1035 and supports dual SIM dual standby. It sports a polycarbonate body and comes in White and Black color options. Even with the bigger bezels, the smartphone comes with on-screen navigation buttons.

Based on the earlier leaks, the 4.5-inch device comes powered by the 32-bit Snapdragon 212 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It comes coupled with Adreno 304 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box without any bloatware apps. Both the volume rocker and power button are placed on the right edge of the device. We can also spot the loudspeaker on the bottom rear of the device. Along with the Nokia 2, the Nokia 7 might also make its global debut in the next few weeks.

The Nokia 7 is the company’s first smartphone to feature glass back body. It came with a 5.2-inch Full HD display and is powered by Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor. The device is made available in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants in China. It sports a 7000-series Aluminum alloy frame with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front and rear. The ZEISS optics and Nokia OZO audio technology introduced with the Nokia 8 are also built into the Nokia 7. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details about the upcoming Nokia smartphones.
