New OnePlus 6T Leaked Image Confirms No Triple Camera Setup

OnePlus is expected to launch the all-new OnePlus 6T smartphone on October 17th. While the official teaser images revealed the device to sport an in-display fingerprint sensor, the leaked retail box also confirmed it come with the waterdrop notch. As seen on the OPPO R17 Pro, the OnePlus 6T is also rumored to come with a triple camera setup. Now, the newly leaked press renders reveal the complete design of the device.

The rear of the OnePlus 6T looks exactly similar to OnePlus 6 but misses out the fingerprint sensor. Instead of the rumored triple camera setup, the company is sticking with dual rear cameras. Coming to the front, the new OnePlus 6T sports waterdrop screen with the tiny V-shaped notch. While the OnePlus 6 offered 84% screen-to-body ratio, it should be close to 90% on the upcoming Oneplus 6T.

Coming to the color options, the leaked renders confirm the OnePlus 6T to be available in Midnight Black and Mirror Black color options. Following the current trend, we also expect the company to announce a couple of color options with gradient finish. While the power button and alert slider are placed on the right edge, the volume rocker sits on the left edge. The lack of 3.5mm audio jack on the OnePlus 6T is compensated with a larger 3,700mAh battery.

It will be running on the Android 9.0 Pie-based Oxygen OS 9.0 out of the box. On the front, the OnePlus 6T sports an AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, the device will come equipped with 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform. Just like its successor, the new OnePlus 6T will also offer up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
