New Apple iPad Pro with Face ID & Apple Pencil 2 Leaked in Press Render

Apple was rumored to launch a new iPad Pro alongside the new iPhones earlier in September. While the company launched three new iPhones, there is no new iPad announcement at that time. However, the company is holding yet another launch later today in New York. While the company hasn’t mentioned anything about products that will be unveiled today, the leaked suggested the company might launch new iPad, Macbooks, and accessories.

There are leaks about the new iPad Pro with Face ID technology from the last few months. Just before the official announcement, the reliable leakster Evan Blass has tweeted the official press render of the device which not only shows the new Apple iPad Pro, but also the new Apple Pencil 2. The slimmer bezel all around the display should also make it measure smaller than its predecessor. Just like the new-gen iPhones, this new iPad also gets rid of the home button & Touch ID and includes gestures navigation & Face ID.

On the top (left in the landscape mode), the bezel features the TrueDepth camera system. While Apple introduced the Face ID with the last year’s iPhone X, the new iPad Pro will be the first iPad to offer this new technology.  The second-gen Apple Pencil, rumored to be called as Apple Pencil 2, will be supporting gestures. The lighting connector might be replaced with USB Type-C port on both these upcoming devices. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
