New Amazon Kindle Oasis with Adjustable Warm Light Launched in India

Amazon has already launched two variants of Kindle Oasis e-reader. Today, the company came up with an upgraded Kindle Oasis that includes adjustable warm light option for the comfortable nighttime reading experience. It even comes with an option to schedule the display color changes based on sunrise and sunset times. The 2019 Kindle Oasis looks the same as its successor and includes the one-handed design grip which also includes physical buttons to turn pages.

The 7-inch glare-free display comes with a pixel density of 300ppi and uses the next-gen E Ink technology for faster page turns. It is also IPX8 certified making it water resistance up to two meters deep for up to 60 minutes. Talking about the battery life, the 2019 Kindle Oasis is mentioned to last up to six weeks on a single charge. Apart from reading e-books, users can also pair Bluetooth headphones or speakers to listen to audiobooks through Audible.

It comes with a MicroUSB port for charging the e-reader. While there is no new magnetic charging cover, the company introduced new cases which put the e-reader to sleep when closed and wake upon opening. The 2019 Kindle Oasis supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and comes with cellular variant additional comes with 3G and EDGE/GPRS support. While the Wi-Fi only variant now comes with 8GB of built-in storage, the Wi-Fi + 3G variant offers 32GB of storage.

The all-new Kindle Oasis comes in Graphite and Champagne Gold color options. Talking about the pricing, the Wi-Fi variant of the 2019 Kindle Oasis is priced at Rs 21,999. The Wi-Fi + cellular variant comes with a price tag of Rs 28,999. While the new fabric cases in Marine Blue, Punch Red or Charcoal color are priced at Rs 2,999 and the leather covers in Black and Merlot will be costing Rs 3,999.
