Qihoo 360 has launched quite a few decent smartphones exclusively in China. All the 360 smartphones run on the in-house 360 OS that comes with heavy customizations and offers good security features. Now, a new 360 smartphone with the model number 1711-A01 is listed on TENAA. It sports a metal body with plastic edges on the top and bottom. The device runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat based 360 OS. It comes with mid-range specifications, and we can expect it to priced under 999 Yuan.
On the front is a 5.5-inch TFT display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is powered by an unknown octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. The device packs 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage additionally up to 128GB. In terms of optics, the device comes with a 13MP sensor on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP sensor on the front for selfies. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE connectivity.
It is backed by a 3,940mAh non-removable battery that should also support fast charging. the smartphone measures 151.46 x 76.23 x 8.6 mm and weighs 174 grams. The listing also mentioned the device to be available in Gold and Black color options. Just below the rear camera is the circular fingerprint sensor. Back in May, the Qihoo 360 launched the 360 N5s smartphone in China as an upgraded variant of the 360 N5. It was launched at 1699 Yuan (approx $245 / Rs. 16,000) and available in Black and Blue color options.
The USP of the 360 N5s is its selfie camera featuring 13MP + 2MP sensors. It comes with a glossy finish back body featuring 2.5D curved glass on front and back of the device. It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and is powered by Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. The device includes 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage along with the MicroSD card slot. It runs on the latest 360 OS 2.0 based on Android 7.1 Nougat. In the camera department, the 360 N5s sports a 13MP rear camera with PDAF and LED flash.
The device derives its juice from the 3,730mAh non-removable battery that also supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging with the 9V/2A (18W) power adapter. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB OTG, 3.5mm Audio port, and MicroUSB 2.0 port.
