Motorola One Android One Smartphone Launched in the US for $400

Motorola has just unveiled its new device in the US called as Motorola One which was announced in the month of August earlier this year. This midrange smartphone is also a part of Google’s Android One programme and will be coming with a near-stock UI along with plenty of fast updates for the next two years form the launch. The handset is available for $399.99 (approx Rs. 29,200) exclusively via Best Buy and is already on pre-order for the Black color variant and the smartphone will be launched on 11th of November.

Well, coming to the specs of this mid-ranger, the Motorola One will be coming with a 5.9-inch display with a notch at the top making it the first smartphone from the company to reach the US with a notch. Keep this to a side, the device comes with relatively fewer pixels density with 287 as it just has 720 x 1520 pixel resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 625 chipset with eight-cores coupled with 4GB of RAM. The onboard storage is 64GB which can also be extended further with a microSD card slot.

To power the Motorola One, there is a 3000mAh battery which comes with the fast charging technology and moreover, the smartphone is also splash-resistant. There is a 13MP main camera on the rear along with a 2MP secondary camera, while there is an 8MP selfie camera also. The company has also pushed in the fingerprint sensor on the device to enhance the security levels.

Out of the box, the device will come with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and will be getting the latest Android 9.0 Pie before the year ends. The thing to note here is, this device will not be compatible with all the major carriers in the US as it will be working only with AT&T and T-Mobile as of now.
