Recently, we have seen leaks about four upcoming Android One smartphones from Motorola. The Moto Razr foldable smartphone also spotted on Bluetooth certification website. As of now, there is no official confirmation about the launch of these smartphones. However, a new Motorola smartphone called Moto Z4 is now leaked online. It is the successor to the last year’s Moto Z3 smartphone. While the Moto Z3 came with flagship specifications, the upcoming Moto Z4 is rumored to feature mid-range hardware. The Moto Z3 also got the 5G support with the launch of 5G Moto Mod and is currently available for the Verizon Wireless users in the US.

Just like the earlier launched Moto Z smartphones, the upcoming Moto Z4 will also come with the 16-pin pogo connector for the attaching the Moto Mods. Since the device has to support existing Moto Mods, we don’t expect any major changes in terms of design. From the rear, it looks very much similar to the Moto Z3 with the large circular camera module. This time, the company has opted for the waterdrop notch display on the front. It will be coming with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. While the Moto Z3 came with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform, the Moto Z4 will be backed by the mid-range 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform.

The Moto Z4 will also support 5G via the 5G Moto Mod which is currently available only in the US. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and includes Motorola’s exclusive feature like Moto Display and Moto Actions. While we are triple rear cameras even on budget smartphones, the Moto Z4 is rumored to sport a single rear camera. It comes with a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and the company will also introduce a dedicated night mode called NightVision. For selfies, it offers a single 25MP camera on the front. The company will be using Quad Pixel technology to capture sharper images in a lower resolution. However, users can also choose to capture photos in full resolution.

Coming to the battery department, the device will be backed by a 3,600mAh non-removable battery and supports TurboCharge technology. Both the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge. Based on the earlier leaks, the device might come in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants with 64GB and 128GB internal storage respectively. We expect the company to launch the rumored Motorola Razr foldable smartphone alongside the Moto Z4. While the other foldable smartphones are powered by the new-gen flagship processors, the Motorola Razr might come with the last year’s Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform.
