ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G to Launch on May 6th with World’s Thinnest Display Chin

The ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G was showcased at the MWC 2019 along with its 5G technology. Now the company has confirmed that its first 5G flagship phone will be officially released in China on May 6th. The device is also claimed to be having the world’s thinnest Chin among all the flexible AMOLED displays. The handset is said to be sporting a chin which has 1.8mm thin thickness. This is made possible by using the COP solution for Visionex’s. 6.4-inch FHD+ flexible AMOLED display that is 30 percent thinner than the other displays.

The upcoming device is the first 5G smartphone from the company which will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset along with the X50 modem coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. Furthermore, the handset will come with 6GB of RAM and the company might provide more storage option when it gets launched. The device will be featuring a 48MP rear camera with LED flash along with 20MP Ultra Wide sensor and 8MP telephoto lens.

The Axon 10 Pro will be having a 20MP selfie camera sensor on the front which will be housed in the water drop notch. Furthermore, it will be available in 128GB onboard storage which can be extended further up to 512GB via microSD card slot. It will be coming out of the box with Android 9 Pie operating system with the company’s own UI on top. Android Q should be available for the handsets when the upcoming OS gets released.

The handset will be powered by a 4000mAh battery on the rear which should be coming with fast charging technology. The device should be available via different carriers also and more details about the same should be known on the launch day along with the global availability and pricing.
