Motorola has launched its latest Moto X Play smartphone in India on September 14th. The device comes with high-end hardware and is priced very aggressively at Rs.18,499. Now the company is going to launch its Moto X Style smartphone in India on October 8th. The pricing of the device is unknown but as seen with Moto X Play, we expect the Moto X Style also to be priced aggressively.
The leaked pricing of the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P looks overpriced when compared to the U.S pricing. We expect Motorola to compete against the likes of Nexus smartphones along with OnePlus 2 and upcoming Elife E8 and Honor 7.
Talking about the device, it comes with a 5.7-inch QuadHD display along with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor coupled with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It will be available with 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB of internal storages.
Comparing with Moto X Play, this device comes with a smaller 3,000mAh battery. On the camera front, it has a 21MP rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera accompanied with another LED flash.
The device comes with dual SIM dual standby and supports 4G LTE. Connectivity on this device includes Wi-FI, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 along with 4G LTE.
It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with almost stock zero bloatware apps, and the company has also guaranteed the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update before the end of this year. Stay tuned for more official details about the Moto X Style smartphone.
