Lenovo is all set to launch the next-gen Moto G devices in India on May 17th. The company is rumored to launch two Moto G devices named Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. Unlike the earlier launched Moto devices, the new Moto G4 and G4 Plus will be sold exclusively through Amazon India. Apart from the leaked images, there is no other information about the devices.
But now we got some details regarding the specification of the Moto G4. According to the Geekbench listing, the device comes powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 617 (MSM8952) octa-core processor along with Adreno 430 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. While the Moto G4 Plus is rumored to sport a fingerprint sensor, the Moto G4 might miss it.
Talking about the other rumored specifications of the upcoming Moto G4, it might support NFC for enabling virtual payments. It is also said to offers battery life when compared previous Moto G devices. The primary camera on the Moto G4 and G4 Plus are expected to be of 16MP resolution. On the front, it will be a 5MP sensor for capturing selfies and videos calls.
While the other mid-range devices come with metal build body, the company will stick with polycarbonate build. Since the launch event is less than a week away, we need to wait till the official launch for the complete specifications of the both Moto G4 and G4 Plus. The Indian pricing of the devices will also be announced at the launch event while they will be sold through Amazon India.
