Micromax Bolt Mega Q397 3G Smartphone Launched with Selfie flash & 1GB RAM

Micromax has come up with another entry level device called as Micromax Bolt Mega Q397. Selfies has become a trend to the new generation and these days; companies are providing LED flash for the front camera also, and Micromax is also doing the same with its new handset. The device is already going for sale in the Bangladesh market for a price of 6599 Taka (approx $84).

Coming to the specifications of the Bolt Mega Q397 from Micromax, it will be sporting a 5.5-inch IPS touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Under the hood, there is a 1.4 GHz Spreadtrum SC7731 SoC with four cores which will be accompanied by 1GB of RAM and Mali 400MP GPU.

There is an onboard memory on the device is 8GB which can be further extended up to a maximum of 32GB via microSD card. On the rear, there is an 8MP autofocus camera with flash while there is a 2MP camera on the front with a flash. Sadly the device is restricted only to 3G connectivity while the entire world is waving in 4G.

The Micromax Bolt Mega Q397 measures 155.4 mm x 77.8 mm x 9mm and weighs 174.7 grams. The handset will come out of the box with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and might be up upgraded further. On the back, there is a Li-Ion 2650 mAh battery on the back to power this device and has connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi GPS, A-GPS and 3.5mm audio jack.

Recently Micromax has announced Micromax Canvas Spark 4G smartphone with a 5-inch display and 1GB RAM which was also an entry level device. Before that, the company launched Micromax Canvas Fire 6, which could not attract many customers. Looking at the specifications of the Bolt Mega Q397, it will compete against like Lenovo A2010, Micromax Canvas A1, Samsung Tizen Z3. Infocus M260, Xolo Era 4G, Asus Zenfone Go and Lava P7.
