Meizu MX6 to Sport Helio X20 Deca-Core SoC, 1080p Display, 3GB RAM

Meizu had launched its flagship smartphone Meizu MX5 in China last year and in 2016, we expect the company to launch its successor Meizu MX6. Though it’s too early to hear an official word about this device, the Weibo account of AnTuTu has confirmed the Meizu MX6 to sport the deca-core Helio X20 processor.
After the success of Helio X10 octa-core processor, the company has officially announced the Helio X20 deca-core processor in May 2015. This will be competing against the likes of Snapdragon 820, Exynos 88920, and Kirin 950 chipsets. At the CES 2016, LeTV has announced the world’s first Snapdragon 820 powered smartphone Le Max Pro. While the Kirin 950 is already equipped in Huawei Mate 8, the Exynos 8890 is rumored to be powering one variant of Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.
It is also said to feature 1080p resolution display, and the Helio X20 processor clocked at 1.8GHz will be coupled with Mali T880 GPU and 3GB of RAM. There will be 32GB of internal storage, and there is no information about the MicroSD card slot. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with Flyme UI overlaid.
On the other hand, the Meizu MX5 came with competing specs along with affordable pricing. The metal build device with mTouch 2.0 fingerprint sensor is launched at Rs. 19,999 in India and is now retailing at Rs. 17,999. It is powered by Helio X10 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The device came with 3GB of RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage, and a 3,150mAh battery.
It has a 20.7MP rear camera with laser autofocus that can also record videos in 4K resolution. On the front is the 5MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. The mCharge technology on this device makes sure the battery to charge quickly. A couple of weeks back there are few rumors about the successor of recently launched Meizu Pro 5. The Meizu Pro 6 is rumored to sport an unannounced Exynos 8870 processor which is said to be lesser powerful variant than the Exynos 8890 SoC. Since the company hasn’t confirmed any details regarding the MX6 or Pro 6, take this with a pinch of salt.
