List of 12GB RAM Smartphones Which You Can Buy Right Now

Back in 2015, Asus launched the world’s first smartphone with 4GB of RAM. Now in 2019, the companies have started selling smartphones with a whopping 12GB of RAM. We are seeing these smartphones when most of the people are still opting for laptops with just 8GB of RAM. Unlike iOS on iPhones, the custom UI’s are not helping Android to offer better RAM management.

Even with 12GB of RAM, the Android smartphone with a badly implemented UI can still offer laggy experience. While much of the hardware on these flagship Android smartphones remain the same, the brands now working on offering better software experience to make their device stand apart from the crowd.

Below is the list of all the Android smartphones with 12GB of RAM which are on sale in India and abroad.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus

Samsung launches three new smartphones under the Galaxy S10 series. The Galaxy S10 Plus is the bigger and the costlier smartphone among the three. It sports a bigger 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display and comes powered by 8nm Exynos 9820 octa-core processor in India. The Galaxy S10 Plus is the first ever smartphone on a global scale to come with 12GB of RAM. Along with 12GB of RAM, the device also offers a whopping 1TB of onboard storage. In terms of optics, the device sports triple cameras on the rear and dual cameras on the front. The 12GB RAM variant of Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus comes only in Porcelain White (ceramic) color and is priced at INR 1,17,900. As of now, it is the only 12GB RAM smartphone to be on sale in India.

Vivo iQOO

Vivo introduced a brand-new series called iQOO to sell flagship smartphones with latest specifications at a very competitive price. The company is targeting the smartphone gamers with its first smartphone under the iQOO series. The device is called as Vivo iQOO and comes with the latest 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform. The 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display with waterdrop notch offers 91.7% screen-to-body ratio. It comes with backlit LED strip hidden underneath the back glass and sports two pressure sensitive buttons which can be used as triggers. It also packs a huge 4000mAh battery which can be charged from 0% to 100% in just 45 minutes using the supplied 44W power adapter. The Vivo iQOO with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage is priced at CNY 4298 (approx INR 44,500). It comes in Monster Blue color and is currently available only in China.

Lenovo Z5 Pro GT

The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT announced in December 2018 is the world’s first smartphone to offer 12GB of RAM. While the above two smartphones are already on sale, Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is only available for pre-ordering. The device sports a true bezel-less display and uses a slider mechanism. It comes with a custom kevlar pattern underneath the glass body. When sliding down, we can also spot the dual selfie cameras along with the large earpiece. The 6.39-inch display on this device offers 95.06% screen-to-body ratio. It comes powered by the 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform and runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie based ZUI 10.0 out of the box. The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage will be costing CNY 4,398 (approx INR 45,500).
