LG has announced a new device in its Q series called as the Q60 along with K50 and K40 smartphones. All the three devices will come with military-level durability and are MIL-STD-810G compliant, which can withstand thermal shock, humidity, falls, thermal shock etc. Furthermore, these smartphones will be coming with a fingerprint sensor on the rear and also have a dedicated Google Assistant button. These smartphones will be showcased at the upcoming MWC event scheduled in Barcelona at the LG booth.
Talking about the specifications, all the three devices will be coming with 3D Surround Sound which can simulate a 7.1 channel surround sound system, The LG Q60 is going to come with a 6.26-inch HD+ display and will be powered with a 2GHz processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. There is a 16MP rear-facing camera with LED flash along with a 2MP depth sensor and a 5MP Super Wide Angle lens on the rear while on the front we can find a 13MP selfie camera. This Dual SIM variant device will have a 3500mAH battery and comes with 64GB of onboard storage.
The LG K50 comes with the same display and processor as the Q60 along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. It will be having a 16MP main rear-facing camera with LED flash and a secondary 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the company has provided a 13MP camera. This device also comes with a 3500mAh battery and the difference we can spot is in the storage and camera department.
The LG K40 will feature a smaller 5.7-inch HD+ display with the same SoC but will be having just 2GB of RAM along with 32GB of storage. There is only one 16MP camera on the rear with LED flash which will be accompanied by an 8MP camera on the front with LED flash. The battery used on this handset is 3000mAh and supports Dual SIM connectivity.
