LG’s next best flagship has arrived and it’s better than ever, well that’s what company has claimed at the MWC stage in Barcelona. The G-series flagship, which hasn’t seen a lot of design upgrade in last two iterations, has finally been upgraded to a metal body design on the G5. But company wanted to give access to battery, and thus they came up with a solution of slide-out battery, which at first looks quite weird. But with practical use case scenarios, it makes it quite useful feature. Now for those who are waiting to get their hands on the device we would be talking about the price, release date and availability with US carriers and other regions as well.
Currently, the South Korean brand hasn’t revealed the pricing, but since it packs top-tier flagship specifications with Snapdragon 820 being the highlight of the device, it is going to be priced high. We expect it to be priced similarly to the G4’s launch pricing. That means it might carry a launch price tag of $599. Of course, it’s a speculation on our end, it isn’t made official just yet.
But do make a note that the electronics giant has set April as its target of sales, i.e. when you’ll be able to purchase the G5 handset, although, no exact date has been set for it. The smartphone would be hitting all the key markets including the United States, Europe, Asia-Pacific (Probably China first) and the homeland, South Korea. Talking about the United States, AT&T, Sprint and Verizon would be carrying the LG G5 while the Vodafone would be the one to join them in the UK.
Update: LG has released a new advertisement on YouTube that has revealed the Launch date which is April 1st, though the device is already being under Pre-Order in the US from the past few days.
Note: We are updating the list of carrier’s availability in the United States and other regions. We are looking out for further information as it pops up on carrier’s official pages. Stay Tuned.
