LeTV Le Max with 2K Display & 21MP Camera Confirmed to Launch in India on Jan 5th
Last week LeTV had confirmed to official debut Indian market on January 5th, and we expected the company to announce Le 1s smartphone that was recently launched in China. But at the company’s fan meetup, it had announced the LeTV Le Max will be the first smartphone to officially enter the Indian market. The device was first announced in July this year at a press event held in Beijing, China.
It sports all metal body along with almost bezel-less display and flagship specifications. The Le Max features a huge 6.33-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) resolution display. Under the hood is the powerful 64-bit Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz and coupled with Adreno 430 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It will be available in 32/64/128GB storage variants with MicroSD card slot.
On the camera part, it has a 20.7MP rear camera with Sony’s IMX230 sensor and includes Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), f/2.0 aperture and a dual tone LED flash. The 4MP front-facing camera with 81 degrees wide-angle lens can capture some good selfies. This dual SIM device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with LeTV’s custom eUI overlaid.

It is backed by a 3,400mAh non-removable battery that can last for a minimum of single day usage.It offers 4G LTE that supports both FDD-LTE and TDD-LTE which can be used in India. The other connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port along with 4G LTE. It measures 167.10 x 83.50 x 8.90 mm and feels heavy in hand by weighing 204 grams
The Le Max will be available in Silver and Gold colors while the Special Edition Le Max with Sapphire Display is launched in Gold and Pink colors. The 32GB variant of the Le Max is priced at 2,999 Yuan while we also expect the device to be priced around Rs. 30,000 in India. It can compete against the likes of YU Yutopia which is priced at Rs. 24,999 and sports similar specifications.
