Lenovo Z6 Lite with HDR10 Display & SD730 SoC to Launch on May 22nd

Last month, Lenovo launched the Lenovo Z6 Pro smartphone powered by Snapdragon 855 Mobiel Platform. Now, the company is getting ready to launch an affordable smartphone under the Lenovo Z6 series. The Lenovo Z6 Lite (a.k.a Lenovo Z6 Youth) will be officially launched on May 2nd in China. It comes equipped with Allystar HD8040 GNSS chipset to offer up to 1m precision tracking. Today, the company’s VP shared a new teaser image which hints the Lenovo Z6 Lite to sport Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.

Based on the rumors, it will be powered by the 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 Mobile Platform featuring Kryo 470 CPU and Adreno 618 GPU. On the front, the device sports waterdrop notch display with Full HD+ resolution and supports HDR10 playback. It comes with a ceramic unibody design which might add weight to the device. The Lenovo Z6 Lite also supports Dolby Atmos to offer surround sound experience.

It runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with ZUI skin laid on top. Just like the pro variant, the Lenovo Z6 Lite might also come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The recently launched Lenovo Z6 Pro came with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (1080 × 2340 pixels) resolution. It came with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The device is backed by a 4,000mAh battery and comes with a 27W power adapter.

The Lenovo Z6 Pro came with quad camera setup on the rear featuring a 48MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a16MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, an 8MP telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a ToF 3D sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The Lenovo Z6 Pro is priced at just CNY 2899 and is currently available only in China.
