Lenovo Z6 First Look and Full Specifications Revealed

Lenovo will be launching the mid-range Lenovo Z6 smartphone in the next couple of weeks. The company already revealed a few key details of the device. Now, the first look and other specifications of the Lenovo Z6 smartphone. It will be coming with the curved glass body with protruding triple camera setup on the rear. In terms of design, the Lenovo Z6 looks very much similar to the recently launched Lenovo Z6 Lite (a.k.a Lenovo Z6 Youth).

On the front, it comes with a waterdrop notch display and features an in-display fingerprint scanner. The newly posted teasers revealed the Lenovo Z6 to sport 6.39-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 600 nits brightness. It also supports HDR10 playback and DCI-P3 wide color gamut. With the waterdrop notch on the top, the display on this device offer 93.1% screen-to-body ratio. Lenovo also confirmed to offer Corning Gorilla Glass protection on the top.

Under the hood, the Lenovo Z6 comes powered by the 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 Mobile Platform and is coupled with Kryo 470 CPU and Adreno 618 GPU. The earlier launched Lenovo Z6 Pro and Z6 Lite came with Snapdragon 855 and Snapdragon 710 processors respectively. The Lenovo Z6 will be offering up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. We also expect the device to come with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.

Talking about the cameras, the triple camera setup on the rear features a 24MP Sony IMX576 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom (up to 8x hybrid zoom), and a 5MP depth sensor. There is also a dual LED flash on the rear. For selfies, it comes with a 16MP camera on the front. Both the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge of the device. It will be running on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with the ZUI skin laid on top.

The Lenovo Z6 will be backed by a 4000mAh non-removable battery and supports 15W fast charging. However, the company mentioned providing an 18W adapter within the box. It will last up to 395 hours on standby mode and gives up to 38 hours of talk time or 16 hours of gameplay. The high-density lithium battery is also mentioned to consume less than 3% of electricity at night. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port.
