Realme X to Launch in India on July 15 along with Far From Home Edition



Realme X was launched in China recently and the device is now set to be launched in India on the 15th of July. Realme made an announcement about the same and also confirmed the Realme X Spider-Man: Far From Home Special Edition will be launched alongside it. The customized edition was also launched in China already that comes with a Spider-Man graphic back cover and Spider-Man theme along with a special gift box packaging.

The announcement from Realme came via their official twitter handle stating that the Realme X will be launched in India on July 15th at 12.30pm IST. Realme also partnered with Sony Pictures to launch the Realme X Spider-Man: Far From Home Special Edition and this variant was announced in China last week. This device will also be launched in India and the same has been confirmed by the company.

The Indian pricing of the device has not been announced yet and should be revealed on 15th this month along with the availability details. Recently Realme’s CEO announced that Realme X Indian variant might come with few different specs and features but nothing is mentioned about the same yet. The Naoto Fukasawa collection with onion and garlic finish will be launched and Sheth also mentioned that there will be a special variant made for India which will be revealed at the launch.

The Realme X was launched in China for CNY 1499 (approx Rs. 15,400) for the basic 4GB + 64GB variant while the 6GB + 64GB variant is priced at CNY 1,599 (approx Rs. 16,400) while the high end model with 8GB + 128GB storage is available for CNY 1,799 (approx Rs. 18,500). The customised Realme X Spider-Man: Far From Home Special Edition comes in 8GB + 128GB storage option for a price tag of CNY 1,799 (approx Rs. 18,000).

To remind you, the Realme X in China came with a 6.53-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there is a 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile SoC and has an in-display fingerprint sensor similar to what we have seen with OnePlus 7 series. Talking about the camera, the device has a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor. There is also a 16MP pop-up camera on the top with f/2.0 aperture and Sapphire glass protection.

There is a 3,765mAh battery on the device with the support for 20W VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology. It comes out of the box with Android 9 Pie based on the companies own ColorOS 6.0 and has 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of onboard storage. There are other connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and Dolby Atmos audio. Are you waiting for the launch of the Realme X smartphone?
