Lenovo to launch Yoga Book 2-in-1 in India on December 13th with 4GB RAM
Lenovo launched its Yoga Book in the IFA 2016 held in September, later it was reported to launch in Malaysia with Google’s Tango technology along with the PHAB2 Pro. Now Lenovo has decided to launch its 2-in-1 convertible tablet in India but nothing about the pricing is known yet. The device will come in both Windows and Android version and is priced at $499.99 and $549.99 respectively in the other parts.
Coming to the Yoga Book, as you know it is a 2-in-1 tablet that comes with a real-pen accessory, a dual-use stylus that lets its user to write on paper and also holds real ink. The 10.1 inch FHD display on the device comes with 400 nits brightness and will be powered by an Intel Atom X5-Z8550 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM.
The device supports single nano SIM and has a 8MP AF camera on the rear accompanied with 2MP fixed focus sensor on the front for video calling. The onboard memory on the device is 64GB which could be extended up to 128GB via microSD card slot. The device will be launched in India on 13th of December and the pricing will be revealed on the same day.
Earlier: Lenovo Malaysia is going to launch two new devices before the year ends with Google’s Tango technology. The Yoga Book is a 2-in-1 convertible tablet while PHAB2 Pro is a smartphone that comes with a focus on augmented reality. Lenovo launched its Yoga Book earlier this year at the IFA 2016 event which could be used as a tablet and notebook also and apart from that, the recent tablets from Lenovo are Tab 3 Plus, Lenovo Miix 510, Lenovo Phab 2 Plus and few more.
Yoga Book
Yoga Book is a 2-in-1 convertible tablet that comes with a 10.1 Full HD IPS display for one-half while the other half has a touch-sensitive surface which is powered by Wacom. It is a keyboard that comes with virtual keys and also has a writing pad. The Yoga book also comes with a stylus that comes with 2,048 level of pressure sensitivity.
The device comes with Windows 10 and also in Android 6.0 variants and will be powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8550 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. There is an 8,500 mAh battery on the back that is rated to last for 15 hours. There is an onboard memory of 64GB which should be enough to store and install plenty of applications.
Lenovo PHAB2 Pro
The Lenovo PHAB2 Pro will be the first smartphone to come with Google Tango technology while it will also be sporting three rear-facing cameras along with motion sensors which will map the surrounding of the location in real time. This Phablet from Lenovo will be coming with a 6.4-inch QHD display and will be coming with a 16MP sensor on the rear with two more cameras which will capture in-depth images and motion sensing.
There is an 8MP camera on the front for video calling and selfies. Under the hood, there is an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and the onboard memory is 64GB. For audio recording, Lenovo has used Dolby Audio Capture 5.1 which claims to record 360 degrees sound. The handset comes with a mandatory fingerprint sensor on the rear to enhance the security, while it will be powered by a 4,050mAH battery on the back.
Both Yoga Book and PHAB2 Pro are priced at US$499 in the US, and the launch event is scheduled on 7th of December.
