Asus announces Zennovation event scheduled for CES 2017 on January 4th

Asus has started sending press invited for its upcoming event called as Zennovation which is scheduled on 4th of January, 2017. The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer has plans to launch a new device at the CES 2017 and expects the device come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The event is going to be held in Las Vegas and we can expect Asus to unveil many other products.
The Zenfone 3 came with a 5.5-inch Full HD Super IPS+ display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The handset is powered by the 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The device comes in 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage as well as 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage options. Both comes with expandable storage via microSD card and will on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with the companies own Zen UI 3.0 on top.
There is a 3000mAh battery on the back to power the device and sports a 16-megapixel rear facing camera with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF and Laser AF, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 88-degree wide-angle lens. There is a fingerprint scanner on the rear to enhance the security levels and is also a dual SIM variant. The connectivity options include 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4 and 5GHz) MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type-C. It also comes with all the set of sensors that can be found on most of the smartphones.
