Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus with 1080p Display & 13MP Camera Launched at Rs. 8499

As teased earlier Lenovo has officially launched the Vibe K5 Plus smartphone in India today. The Vibe K5 Plus along with the Vibe K5 are first unveiled at the Mobile World Congress. While in India, it was launched with a price tag of RS. 8499, but at MWC 2016 the company has announced the price of K5 Plus as $149 (approx Rs. 10,000) which is more than the Indian pricing. If you think the device is priced lower, then the same device is available as Lemon 3 priced at just 699 Yuan (approx Rs. 7,200) in China.

It sports a 5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the 64-bit Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. The device includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded upto 32GB via provided MicroSD card slot. It comes build into an Aluminum body which makes one of the most affordable smartphone with metal body.

In the camera department, the Vibe K5 Plus includes a 13MP rear camera with LED flash. On the front is a 5MP camera for selfies. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Vibe UI laid on top. It is backed by a 2,750mAh non-removable battery that can last for a single day of mixed usage. The K5 Plus will be available in the colors Gold, Silver & Grey.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It has dual rear speakers with MaxxAudio technology and Dolby audio for improved audio experience. It measures 142 x 71 x 7.99 mm and weighs 142 grams. It will be exclusively available through Flipkart starting from March 23 and there are no flash sales like other popular Chinese devices.
