Leaked images shows off the Google Pixel Smartphones ahead of it’s Oct 4th Launch

After a series of leaks about the devices, the company has now made it official. Google will be unveiling the new Pixel Smartphones i.e. Pixel and the Pixel XL on Oct 4th (5th in India). The same was confirmed by a teaser video that the company posted on its YouTube channel a couple of hours ago. So, now all the rumors and speculations can be put to a rest on Oct 4th when the devices will be finally unveiled. But doesn’t necessarily stops us from taking a look at the available leaks as of now.
Although the teaser is not revealing much about the device itself, other than the date, we decided to show you some of the freshly leaked images of the device itself. And interestingly, this time not just one, but we have leaked images of both the devices. Now taking a look at these leaked images, we see that the device are white color variants. At the back, we have half aluminum and half glass portion. Not sure how it’s going to feel in the hand as it looks very unattractive. It also houses the Fingerprint scanner and the camera. On the front, we don’t have much to look out for, other than the display itself. The bigger version is expected to be of 5.5-inches and the smaller version to be of 5-inch.
And as far as other specs go, both the devices are expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor and 4GB of RAM. We don’t have much info about the camera itself as of now, so that has to wait until the devices are officially launched. Also, since these are Google smartphones, they should be running the latest and greatest 7.0 nougat out of the box, although it is reported that there might be some minor tweaks. Do make a note that this is not the first device to ship with 7.0 Nougat, as the V20 launched earlier this month was the first one to do so. Stay tuned for info on this as we will update once they are launched officially.
