Latest Lenovo Z6 Pro Teaser Reveals Waterdrop Notch Display on the Front

Lenovo will be unveiling its latest flagship smartphone on April 23rd in China. On the same day, OnePlus will also reveal the official launch date of the OnePlus 7 smartphone. Talking about the upcoming Lenovo Z6 Pro, the company recently shared the rear-view of the device. Today, the company came posted a new teaser image on the Weibo revealing the waterdrop notch display. Last year’s Lenovo Z5 Pro came with a full view notch-less display using the slider mechanism.

Compared to the device size, the waterdrop notch looks very small in the image. The device will be coming with a 3D curved glass body and metal frame. Just above the front camera, we can also see the earpiece. Even though it comes in a smaller size, the device is teased to offer stereo speaker setup. On the right edge, we can clearly see the volume rocker and red accent power button. From the last few months, the company has been continuously promoting the Hyper Video technology.

We will be knowing details about this new video technology on the launch date. As revealed earlier, the device comes with a quad camera setup on the rear featuring 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor. The device is also capable of recording photos in the 100MP resolution. Under the hood, the Lenovo Z6 Pro comes powered by the 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 485 CPU and Adreno 640 GPU.

The Lenovo Z6 Pro will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery and comes with 30W fast charging support. Lenovo might also add wireless charging support as well. It will be running on the latest Android 9.0 Pie based ZUI out of the box. The company also shared the screenshot of the Antutu benchmark results where the device has scored over 400,000.
