The luxury smartphones never come with power packed specifications or the good looking aesthetics. In the last couple of years, few luxury smartphone makers have stepped up their game by offering high-end specifications alongside the exclusive concierge services. While these luxury smartphones beat most of the other smartphones with their super high price tags, they lack the flagship specifications or the advanced features to make the user more productive. Lamborghini, the Italy-based luxury and sports car maker, has launched its latest luxury smartphone called Alpha One in the UK and UAE for $2450 (approx Rs. 1.57 Lakh).
Earlier to this, we have seen the luxury smartphones from the premium brands like TAG Heuer, Aston Martin, Porsche, and Bentley. Lamborghini has earlier launched Antares and 88 Tauri smartphones and the new Alpha One becomes its third smartphone. The Lamborghini Alpha One sports a super strong liquid metal frame that offers more strength. It has the Italian hand-made black leather on the rear with golden stitching. The company is also offering a sleeve case made up of Italian leather and it will be available only in Black color.
Talking about the specifications, the Lamborghini Alpha One sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on the top. Under the hood is the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. The smartphone includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 128GB via a MicroSD card slot. In terms of optics, it has a 20MP sensor on the rear with f/1.8 aperture and OIS.
For selfies, the Lamborghini Alpha One comes with an 8MP front facing camera on the front. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and comes with dual SIM support. On the rear of the Alpha One is the fingerprint sensor to make the device secure along with the famous “Raging Bull” metal logo. It packs Dolby Audio powered stereo speakers on the front that offer 3D surround sound. With all these specifications, the Alpha One comes equipped with a 3,250mAh battery that is mentioned to give up to 24 hours of talk time and lasts up to 290 hours on standby mode.
It even supports Quick Charge 3.0 using the USB Type-C port. The device also includes a dedicated DAC and ADC along with AKM4961 Hi-Fi recording processor and AKM4490 Hi-Fi audio amplifier.
