Karbonn Quattro L50 with 13MP PDAF Camera & 2GB RAM Launched at Rs. 7,990

Karbonn Quattro L50 is the latest entry-level smartphone from the Karbonn that was recently launched in the market. This is the first smartphone under the all new Quattro series. It is priced at Rs. 7,990 and offers some competitive specifications at this price range. Recently Coolpad had announced the Note 3 Lite priced at Rs. 6,999 and features first of its kind specs. The Quattro L50 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with customized Kandy UI V1.0.

It features a 5-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution and is poweredby a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The device comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 32GB. The USP of the device is its camera, the 13MP rear camera comes with f/2.0 aperture and Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) that can capture better images than many of the smartphones at this price range. On the front, is the 5MP camera for selfies.

The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE connectivity. It is backed by a 2,600mAh battery that can deliver upto 8 hoursof talktime and lasts upto 200 hours on standby. Connectivity options on this device includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, MicroUSB port along with 4G LTE. According to the company, the Quattro L50 supports 21 Indian languages for typing input and 11 languages supported at system root level.

It measures 141 x 71 x 8.8 mm and weighs 134 grams. The device will be available in the colors – Coffee, Blue, and Grey. It can be purchased online exclusively through Amazon India and is also available across India via retail stores. The Coolpad Note 3 Lite which is priced lower than this offers better processor and higher RAM capacity along with a fingerprint sensor.
