Earlier this month, China based Transsion Holdings launched the Infinix smartphone brand in India. The Infinix Note 4 and Hot Pro 4 smartphones will be exclusively sold through Flipkart. Before bringing the Infinix branded devices, the company has debuted Indian smartphone market with itel branded smartphones. The itel PowerPro P41 is the latest itel branded smartphone to launch in India. The device comes with a metal frame and will be available in Graphite, Silver Grey, and Champagne color options.

The itel PowerPro P41 smartphone is priced at just Rs. 5,999 and packs decent entry-level specifications. It runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and features capacitive navigation buttons. It sports a 5-inch IPS display offering WVGA (854 x 480 pixels) and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The device packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There is a MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage up to 32GB via a MicroSD card slot. With the pre-loaded bloatware apps, the available storage will be much lesser than mentioned 8GB of storage.

In the camera department, there is a 5MP autofocus camera on the rear with dual-tone LED flash. For selfies, there is a 2MP fixed focus camera placed on the front. The USP of the device is the mammoth 5,000mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 51 hours of talk time and lasts up to 35 days on standby. The itel PowerPro P41 also supports dual SIM dual standby and offers both 4G VoLTE (Voice over LTE) and ViLTE 4G (Video over LTE). It also includes the multi-account feature for using two accounts of the same app like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and more.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge of the device. In May this year, the company also launched the itel Wish A41+ 4G VoLTE smartphone for Rs. 6,590. It is an upgraded variant of the itel Wish A41+ smartphone. The Wish A41+ comes with the same 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display as mentioned above. Unlike the new PowerPro P41 smartphone, the  Wish A41+ still runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
