Intex has launched another smartphone called “Aqua Turbo 4G” in the already crowded Indian smartphone market, earlier to this the company has launched Cloud 4G, Aqua 3G, and Aqua Q1+ smartphones in this month. The device is priced at Rs.7,444 and comes packed with entry-level specifications. It also supports 4G LTE to give their users the real speed of internet connectivity.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies said, “We have always been at the forefront in technology advancements, and the Aqua Turbo 4G is yet another powerful 4G LTE device from Intex’s kitty. Intex always builds devices with stunning designs and powerful features that are also priced lucratively. This pioneering product comes as a package of smart designing, powerful battery, performance and pre-emptive pricing for our target consumer.”

The device sports 5-inch HD (1280×720) IPS display and comes powered by an unknown quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz. As the name suggests, the device comes with 4G LTE connectivity. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.

There is a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera. It is powered by a 3,000mAh Li-Polymer battery. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It measures 144 x 72.5 x 8.9 mm and weighs 150 grams.

Along with 4G LTE, the device includes other basic connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPS/A-GPS, and microUSB 2.0. The device competes with other entry-level smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi 2, YU Yuphoria, Phicomm Energy 653 that offers better specifications and also at lower price.
