How To Install Translate feature of Galaxy Note 7 on any Android Smartphone

Last week, Samsung launched the new Galaxy Note 7 smartphone which upgrades over the existing Note 5 smartphone in various aspects. One such aspect is the S Pen. The new upgraded S Pen not just has a thinner tip, this time, around, but it also has different new tricks on the software side. So now we are talking about the new feature called the ‘Translate’. This feature will allow you to translate from and to multiple languages just by simply hovering over the text with the S Pen.

This will also work over with the images if the text is distinctly visible. With that being said, all these will work only if own a Note 7 smartphone. But if you don’t have one, then maybe you are not completely out of luck here. So if you own any other Android powered smartphone, then you can use this same feature, and all you will need is the Google Translate app. You can use a feature called as Tap to Translate. You can just select the text to be translated, and it will be translated for you in the desired language with just a tap of a button. Users don’t even have to leave their current screen.

Simply select the text, tap the three dots in the pop-up menu and select the Google translate. From there you can select the language etc., and that’s it. Now if you want to do the same with an image, then go to your Translate application and select the small camera icon in the bottom left corner of the text field. You can take your own picture or you can select one from the gallery. Again, simply run over the lines to be translated and then see it instantly translate into the desired language you want.

This might be a great news for the existing Note 5 owners as well as other Android users as well. And talking about the new Galaxy Note 7 smartphone, it comes with a 5.7-inch QuadHD display and is powered by a Snapdragon, octa-core processor. It is packed with 4GB of RAM. However, there is 6GB RAM in works for China. In terms of software, it is running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and will be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat once it is launched officially. The Galaxy Note 7 is scheduled to launch in India on August 11th and will be available to purchase starting 19th August. Stay tuned for more info on this.
