InFocus M680, a new mid-range smartphone from the company is launched exclusively on Indian ecommerce store Snapdeal. The device comes with a 1080P Display, MediaTek MT6753 (Octa core 1.3 GHz cortex A53) processor & has a 13MP Camera on the rear & the front. The Phone has been launched at a price of Rs 10999. The design of the device is similar to the recently launched M535 with all metal body.
The device comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display while the M535 came with the same screen size but was limited to just HD resolution. Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with 2GB RAM. The device has 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to a maximum of 64GB.
On the camera part, the M680 has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an aperture of f/2.2. While the Snapdeal listing shows the front camera is of 13MP sensor, the GeekBench listing shows it as an 8MP sensor. On the other hand, the M535 came with the same 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with InLife UI 2.0 laid on top of it.
It is backed by 2,600mAh battery that can give decent battery life. Apart from the high-resolution display there are no major differences between M680 and M535. It supports dual SIM dual Standby using the hybrid SIM slot where you can insert the MicroSD card instead of the second SIM. The InFocus M680 comes with a thickness of 7.25mm while the M535 measured just 6.99 mm.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WI-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. The InFocus M535 was launched for Rs 9,999 in the Indian market while the latest handset is launched for Rs 10,999. If you’re looking for better build quality, front camera and a full HD resolution, you have to pay extra 1K for that.
