Last month, we have seen leaks about the Huawei Y9 2019 smartphone. It is the successor to the Huawei Y9 2018 which came with Kirin 659 SoC and Quad Cameras. Now, the new Huawei Y9 2019 comes packed with upgraded specs along with a new design approach. Unlike its predecessor, the Huawei Y9 2019 sports 3D curved glass body with curved edges on the rear and a 19:9 notch display on the front.
Talking about the specs, it comes with a 6.5-inch FullView IPS display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the all-new 12nm HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G51 GPU. The Huawei Y9 2019 will be available in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage respectively. There is also a MicroSD card for further expansion of storage.
Coming to the cameras, the Huawei Y9 2019 sports 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras and 16 MP + 2 MP dual front cameras. Both the front and rear cameras are mentioned to come equipped with AI features for capturing better photos. The circular fingerprint sensor on the rear also comes with gestures support. It will be backed by a 3,900mAh non-removable battery and should support 9V/2A (18W) fast charging.
While there is no information, we also expect the company to include the face unlock feature. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. While the Huawei Y9 2019 will be hitting the markets in mid-October, we are yet to know its official pricing. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
