Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite with 10.1″ Display & Harmon Kardon Speakers Launched

Huawei has earlier launched the high-end 8.4″ MediaPad M5  and 10.8″ MediaPad M5 Pro Android tablets. Now, the company launched the third tablet in the MediaPad M5 series called MediaPad M5 Lite. It comes with the metal unibody design with a 2.5D glass on the front. The company is also offering Harmon Kardon tuned quad speaker setup that should give premium audio experience.

The MediaPad M5 Lite will be available in Champagne Gold and Space Grey. It comes with a 10.1-inch IPS display with FullHD+ (1920 x 1200 pixels) resolution. The company is also selling M-Pen stylus which supports up to 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity. Under the hood, the tablet comes powered by a 64-bit Kirin 659 octa-core processor clocked at 2.4GHz and comes coupled with Mali T830 GPU and 3GB/4GB of RAM.

The 3GB and 4GB RAM variants offer 32GB and 64GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage. In the camera department, the tablet sports 8MP autofocus camera on the rear and another 8MP fixed focus camera on the front. It is backed by a 7,500mAh non-removable battery and supports 9V/2A fast charging. It measures 243.4 x 162.2 x 7.7 mm and weighs 475 grams.

The MediaPad M5 Lite runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with EMUI 8.0 skin on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE (optional), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. The MediaPad M5 Lite comes in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + LTE variants.
