Huawei Y6 Pro (2017) Launched with Metal Body & Fingerprint Sensor
Next week, Huawei will be unveiling four new smartphones under the Mate 10 series. However, it is still continuing to launch its budget smartphones. Recently, the company launched the Huawei Nova 2i with 18:9 FullView display in Malaysia. Now, the Huawei Y6 Pro (2017) is launched in few European markets including Germany, Italy, and France. It costs €179 (approx $210 / Rs. 13,700) and packs entry-level specifications. Compared to the plastic built Huawei Y6 Pro, the new Y6 Pro 2017 with the unibody metal design looks premium.
It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with the customized EMUI 5.1 laid on top. The smartphone sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display with a 2.5D curved glass laid on top. It is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and comes coupled with Adreno 308 GPU. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be further expandable via a MicroSD card slot. As seen on the Y6 Pro, new Y6 Pro 2017 also offers a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies.
The Y6 Pro 2017 is backed by a 3,020mAh non-removable battery that might give at least a day-long usage. It also comes with dual SIM dual standby support and the connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. The device measures 143.5 x 71 x 8.05 mm and weighs 145 grams. It will be available in Black, Gold, and Silver color options. On the rear of the device, we can also spot the circular fingerprint sensor. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
