Huawei has recently launched the entry-level Huawei Y6 in the Korean market in December 2015, today the company has launched via Villman.com in the Philippines. The device comes with a budget price tag of PHP 5,790 (approx $121 / Rs. 8,250) and offers some impressive specifications.The device comes with a chrome finished frame with plastic back cover with rounded edges.
The Huawei Y6 features a 5-inch IPS display with an HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 210 MS8909 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz along with Adreno 304 GPU. It has 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card support.

It also supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE for accessing faster internet speeds. There is an 8MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash on the rear and a 2MP selfie shooter on the front. The 2,200mAh battery keeps the device powered on for at least a day. It runs on EMUI 3.1 based on the Android 5.1 Lollipop. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, MicroUSB port along with 4G LTE. It measures 143.5 x 72.1 x 8.5 mm and weighs 125 grams.

The device can be purchased from Villman and is available in the colors White and Black options. The Firefly Intense Desire and MyPhone My36 priced at PHP 6,499 (approx $136 / Rs. 9,250 ) & PHP 6,999 (approx $146 / Rs. 10,000) respectively can be good alternatives for the Huawei Y6. These devices also support 4G LTE and includes much better hardware than the Huawei Y6.
