Huawei teased the launch if its Watch GT in India a few days ago, now the comet has confirmed that the device will be available for purchase starting next week. The same has been confirmed by a tweet from the companies Twitter India handle and it will be going official on 12th of March. Furthermore, Amazon India has also set up a landing page for the Watch GT although the pricing has not been revealed.
This smartwatch comes with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454 x 454 pixels resolutions and will be running on Huawei’s own platform. The device will come with a 10.6 mm case body which is compatible with two band options. It is also claimed to come with innovative smart power saving algorithm which will be enabling it to dynamically change between performing and efficiency modes which depend on the activity of the users for providing maximum battery life.
The Huawei Watch GT comes with a sports mode which will be notifying the users to adjust the intensity of the workout by setting a target and in rest mode, the smartwatch will automatically monitor and record the resting heart rate with TruSeen 3.0 heart rate monitoring technology. Moreover, it uses invisible light to monitor the heart rate of the user during sleep. The device can track all indoor and outdoor exercises that include Jogging, Cycling, Mountain climbing, trekking, running, or swimming.
Well, this smartwatch comes in Classic as well as Sports edition and the Classic edition was priced at €249 (approx Rs. 21,100) while the Sports edition was priced at €199 (approx Rs. 16,900). It will be interesting to see how it will be priced in India and we are not sure if both the variants will be making it to the country.
