Huawei P Smart+ 2019 Goes Official with Kirin 710 SoC & Tripe Rear Cameras

Huawei is gearing up for the launch of its next-gen flagship smartphones – Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro. Alongside the flagship devices, we are also seeing several leaks about the entry-level and mid-range Huawei smartphones. Now, a new device named Huawei P Smart+ 2019 is listed on the company’s official website. Apart from the specifications, there is no information about the pricing or the availability of the device.

From the images, the device certainly looks stellar with the curved glossy finish body. The Huawei P Smart+ 2019 will be available in Starlight Blue and Midnight Black color options. On the front, the device comes with a 6.21-inch IPS display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. With the dewdrop notch, the display on this device offers 89% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood is the 12nm HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G51 GPU.

The device will be coming with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expanding the storage up to 512GB. The triple camera setup on the rear features 24MP primary sensor, 16MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 2MP bokeh camera. For selfies, the Huawei P Smart+ 2019 offers an 8MP front-facing camera with an AI smart algorithm. The camera app on this device comes with auto scene detection, AI night mode, and 480 fps slow motion video support.

It runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie based EMUI 9.0 out of the box. The GPU Turbo 2.0 will further enhance the performance of the device while playing games. The device comes powered by a 3,400mAh non-removable battery and there is no mention of fast charging support. Also, it still comes with a MicroUSB port for charging.
