In October, we had exclusively covered about the launch of Huawei Enjoy 5 that came with a huge 4,000mAh battery. The device is priced at $157 and sports some good mid-range specifications. In less than two months after launching the Enjoy 5, Huawei had sent out the invites for the launch of its successor Huawei Enjoy 5s.

While the metal body devices are considered to be premium, now many manufacturers are launching mid-range devices with metal bodies that give great strength along with premium feel. The teaser image suggests the device to sport to come with dual SIM support with two individual SIM slots where you can insert a MicroSD card in the first SIM slot. While there isn’t much more information regarding the device, the GeekBench listing of the device with model number ABC-UL00 uncovers few more specifications.

It sports a 5.2-inch display with Full HD resolution while the Enjoy 5 came with only HD resolution. Under the hood is the Kirin 935 octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera. Since the Enjoy 5 came with a massive 4,000mAh battery, we can expect the Enjoy 5s to sport the same or a slightly larger battery.

The device will also feature a fingerprint sensor for securing the device and also mobile payments. It can compete against the recently launched Redmi Note 3 that comes with an affordable price tag of (approx $172 / Rs. 11,500) for the 3GB RAM variant. While the specifications are attractive, the company needs to place the device in the correct price range. Since the official launch event is just two days, stay tuned for more updates!
