Huawei EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 Announced, to bring India Specific features

Just yesterday, we have seen Honor which is the sub brand of Huawei, announced its 8C smartphone and now the company has decided to announced its new EMUI 9.0 based on the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system which would be bringing many Indian specific features. The newly announced EMUI 9.0 will bring local language support along with local calendar, deeper integration of PayTm and many more.

The latest update will bring down the number of setting from 940, from the previous update to 843 in EMUI 9.0. The company also promises to bring 12.9% better performance and 10% better app load times on the new update when compared to the older one. Moreover, the EMUI 9.0 will come with a natural UX design with integration of nature’s sound and colour with minimum style, making it user friendly and easier to use also.

With the GPU Turbo 2.0, the graphics performance of the smartphone is improved by 60% and the power consumption is reduced by 30%. The supported operators are also increased for, 90 to 147 while the number of APIs used are increased to 33API from 22API which will be identifying the scene. This update will also support more than 1500 atomisation services from 500. This UI will also come with Google’s Digital Wellbeing features which will help its users to track the amount of time they spend on the smartphones.

Apart from these, The HiVision in EMUI 9.0 can identify most of the places of the world and also over 10 million paintings. This latest update will be seen first on the Mate 20 series which will be launched on 16th of October and the updates is in beta testing for the devices like Huawei Mate 10, Huawei Mate 10 Pro, P20, P20 Pro, Honor Play, Honor 10 and Honor View 10 devices.
