HTC One X9 with Helio X10 SoC & 3GB RAM Launched at $370

After several rumors and leaks, HTC had officially launched the HTC One X9 smartphone in China today. Earlier to this the company had launched two new mid-range Desire smartphones Desire 728 and Desire 828 along with the high-end One A9 in the last couple of months. Talking about the device, the device looks same as on the leaked images, and most of the specifications also remain same when compared to the leaked details.
It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is protected by the latest Gorilla Glass display. Under the hood, the One X9 is powered by Helio X10 octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM. It has 32GB of internal storage along with a MicorSD card slot for storage expansion up to 2TB. The device supports dual SIM dual standby with 4G LTE connectivity option.
The One X9 has a 13MP rear camera with F/2.0 aperture and 2nd Gen OIS that can detect the body shake in 0.125 milliseconds. According to the listing the rear camera can record the videos in 4K resolution. On the front, there is a 5MP selfie camera with an aperture of F/2.0 that can record videos in 1080p. As seen on the earlier One series devices, the One X9 also two front-facing boom sound speakers with Dolby surround sound system.
It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery that is rated to give 15 hours of talk time and 40 hours music playback. The provided 5V/1.5A adapter gives the fast charging capabilities to the device. Though it runs on the Android OS, the exact version of the OS is not mentioned, but we expect it to run on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow since the earlier launched One A9 came with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
The device measures 153.9 x 75.9 x 7.99 mm and weights 173 grams. Connectivity options on this device includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS, MicroUSB 2.0 port along with 4G LTE. It will be available in Gunmetal Grey and Silver colors options. The device is priced at 2399 Yuan ($370 / Rs. 24,500) and will be available from the next few days.
