Officially Launched
HTC to Launch One A9 & Desire 828 in India on Nov 25th

HTC had officially unveiled the HTC One A9 in October and was made available in the US, UK and recently in China. Now the company has sent out the media invites for an event on November 25. The invite includes the same background as on the invite sent for the event where the HTC One A9 was first announced suggesting the launch of the device in the India. There are also rumors that the Desire 828 which was launched in China will be entering the Indian market.
During the pre-orders, the HTC One A9 is priced at $399 in the US, and later that was increased to $499 during the sale. The design of the device looks almost similar to the latest iPhone 6S apart from the rear camera placement. Even at such a premium pricing, it sports mid-range specs with a metallic body and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Apart from the Nexus devices, the One A9 is the only device to come with Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
It sports a 5-inch AMOLED display and is powered by the Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor. The device has 2GB of RAM and had 16GB of internal storage. Considering the price, there are better alternatives like Galaxy A8, Honor 7, OnePlus 2 which are available for a much cheaper price and includes better specifications. Though none of the devices come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, all the three manufacturers have announced the timeline for the release for Marshmallow update for their respective devices.
On the other hand, the Desire 828 which was exclusively reported by us is now finally coming to India. Till date, it was launched only in Taiwan and China. The device was launched in China at 1,599 Yuan and is also first desire smartphone to sports Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). While few of the specifications resembles with HTC One A9, there is much variation in the pricing making the Desire 828 more preferable than One A9.
While the Invite for the launch was official (according to 91mobiles), the devices to be launched are all based out of guesses. Take this with a pinch of salt until we have an official confirmation.
