Officially Launched
Micromax Canvas Nitro 3 with Octa-Core SoC & 13MP Camera Available at Rs. 8,130

Micromax had just launched a new smartphone ‘Canvas Xpress 4G‘ in the Indian market. The device comes with a metallic frame and sports some decent specifications for its price tag of Rs. 6,599. The device was exclusively available through Flipkart via open sale that was started from yesterday. Today a new smartphone in the Canvas Nitro series with the model number E352 had been listed on a third party online store.
The Canvas Nitro 3 will be the successor for Canvas Nitro 2 that was launched earlier this year. Though the device wasn’t listed on the company’s official website, a seller on eBay was selling the device for Rs. 8,130, though this might not be the official retail price. The dual SIM device sports a 5-inch IPS display with an HD resolution. It is powered by the MediaTek MT6592M octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz.
It has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and MicroSD card slot. The device comes with a 13MP rear camera with OV13850 OmniVision sensor and f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it has a 5MP selfie camera with 84-degree wide angle lens and f/2.2 aperture. Both the cameras are accompanied by LED flash that can capture some decent images even in the dark.
It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and we can expect bloatware apps as seen on the earlier devices from the company. The 2,500mAh battery keeps the device powered on. As of now the device is available only in Blue color and the company is also offering a free back cover made with leather kind of material.
The Canvas Amaze that was priced at Rs. 7,999 offers almost similar specifications but with a smaller battery and with 8GB of internal storage. Compared to the Canvas Xpress 4G and Canvas Amaze that are priced at Rs. 6,599 and Rs. 7,999 respectively; the Canvas Nitro 3 seems to be a better alternative priced at Rs. 8,130
