As you may or may not know, HTC is working on two new nexus smartphones for Google which will be running the latest stock Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It is expected that the company will be launching both the smartphones in the month of October this year and we have already covered a bunch of leaks and rumors about this alleged smartphone.
But now according to a latest leak, the Nexus Sailfish will feature a 5-inch display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz. It will have Qualcomm Adreno 530 GPU for Graphics. The device will be pack 4GB of RAM and the internal storage option appears to be of 32GB. It is also reported that the smartphone will be powered by a 2,700 mAh battery.
For the camera we are looking at a 12-megapixel rear facing camera and an 8-megapixel front facing camera. It will obviously be featuring a fingerprint scanner with Nexus imprint support and a USB Type-C port. Looking at all these specs, it appears to be a decent smartphone. Anyway, it is just a smaller version as the bigger version will launching at the same time.
As far as the design is concerned, Google is planning to keep it simple and go minimal design. There are a couple of pictures of the device already. As far as the bigger version i.e. the Nexus Marlin is concerned, it is also expected to be powered by the same Snapdragon 820 processor. It will pack 4GB of RAM and it will be sporting a 6-inch display on the front. It is rumored to be of FHD resolution, however, we expect it to be of QuadHD resolution.
