Honor K2 Kids Smartwatch Launched with IP67 Certification

The smartphone maker, Huawei has listed its Honor K2 Kids Smartwatch officially and is also taking pre-orders of it. The device is available for pre-order with a deposit ranging between 20-40 Yuan (approx $3 to $6). Although the Huawei has not announced the pricing of the smartwatch yet, it will be revealed on 26th of December. Honor V20 is also scheduled to be launched on the same day along with Honor YOYO Smart Speakers.

The pre-order as well as shipping of this smartwatch will be starting from 26th December and will be available in Blue and Pink color options. The smartwatch will be coming with 1.3-inch TFT touch-screen display with 240 x 240 pixels resolutions. There is a support for a nan-SIM card and has 4MB of RAM and 16GB flash memory. The Honor K2 Kids smartwatch is IP67-certified for water resistance since kids have the tendency of playing in the water.

The watch also comes with a silicone strap which supports the wrist size of around 110 mm to 180 mm. There are many other functions like voice call, call recording, address book, SOS emergency call, and a few others. It will also notify its users on SMS, calls, weather and can view them directly on the smartwatch. The user can also set alarms and stopwatch along with a few other functions.

The Honor K2 Kids smartwatch users can also add friends and start chatting with them or even with family. For locating the kids, there is also a positioning system and also has a reward system which the parents can issue to their child. The device will be compatible with smartphones with iOS 9.0 and higher while on Android, 4.4 KitKat or more is required.
