Honor Band Z1 Launched in India for RS 5499

Honor in an event happening in New Delhi right now has launched a fitness band, aptly named Honor Band Z1. This is the first wearable from Honor brand announced globally. India is the first country to receive this product, as Huawei is pushing their Honor Brand in the country.
The new Z1 Band is a fitness tracker from a company that can calculate the steps you have walked, as well as how many calories you have burned. The band also supports sleep monitoring where it would measure if you’re getting the quality sleep time or not. Though, we are not sure whether it would be able to automatically detect the sleep mode or not. We will check in with company officials for that.
The smart fitness band from Honor is said to come with Long-Lasting battery of three days. Though, the company didn’t share the exact battery capacity, which we are interested to know.
The Z1 band comes with an IP68 rating that is to say that it can be submerged in water for up to 30 minutes, and not deeper than 10 meters. Additionally, the rating also confirms that it is a dustproof wearable. This allows you to carry the Z1 in the wildlife without being worried about that it would get dirty.
The first Honor Band is priced reasonably low at Rs 5499 if you considered that it has a display. Though, the details about display are still scarce as the company didn’t reveal much about it. But we are sure that it isn’t an LCD display.
Other important feature of Z1 includes the notification reminders of calls and text. There should be a proprietary app for synchronizing the data tracked by the band, but no information has been shared about this yet.
Comparing it with the likes of Xiaomi Mi Band and Yu Yufit won’t do the justice to Z1 band. Rather it would be competing with fitness bands like Misfit, which recently entered into the country with three bands. The availability of the new Honor band isn’t mentioned by the company, but we expect it to come by late October for the festive season.
