Honor 9 Lite Smartphone with Four Cameras Launched in India for Rs. 10,999

Honor 9i from Huawei’s Honor is the first smartphone to feature 18:9 display & four cameras. Last week, the company also unveiled the Honor 7X and Honor View 10 smartphones with the FullView displays. Now, a new Honor smartphone is listed on TENAA with the model number LLD-AL00. While there is no official information from the company, the rumors hint the device to be launched soon in China as Honor 9 Lite. While the Honor 9 was launched with the 16:9 standard display, the upcoming Honor 9 Lite will be featuring 18:9 FullView display.

Honor 9 Lite with FullView Display & Four Cameras Listed Online

Just like the Honor 9, the Honor 9 Lite might also come with a glass back body. The device will be coming with a 5.65-inch FullView display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The recently launched Honor 7X came with a slightly bigger 5.93-inch display with the same resolution. The listing mentioned the device to come powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.36GHz. It might feature the in-house Kirin 659 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU.

The device will be running on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with the EMUI 8.0 skin laid on top. We expect the company to launch the Honor 9 Lite in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB storage options. As seen with the other honor devices, the upcoming Honor 9 Lite will also offer MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. Talking about the cameras, this new device offers dual cameras on the front and rear. According to the listing, the device sports 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the front and rear with LED flash.

It also supports dual SIM dual standby and offers basic connectivity options including 4G VoLTE. With all these specifications, the device will be kept powered on by a 2,900mAh non-removable battery. It will be even more interesting, if the company includes the Honor Super Charge support. It measures 151 × 71.9 × 7.6 mm and weighs 149 grams. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the rear of the device. As of now, there is no information about the exact launch date of the Honor 9 Lite.

Honor Officially Confirms to Launch Honor 9 Lite on Dec 21st

Just yesterday, we came to know about the specifications of the new Honor smartphone. It was listed on TENAA with the model number LLD-AL00. As expected, it will be officially launched Honor 9 Lite in China. The company also posted the teaser image confirming the launch date as December 21st and event will be held in Shenzen, China. It is also confirmed to sport 18:9 FullView display and four cameras.

As seen on the Honor 9i and Honor 7X, the upcoming Honor 9 Lite is also rumored to pack Kirin 659 octa-core processor. Honor 9 Lite with Four Cameras Officially Launched in China

As announced earlier, the Honor 9 Lite smartphone is now officially unveiled in China. It is the successor to the Honor 8 Lite smartphone launched earlier this year. Just like the Honor 9, the new Honor 9 Lite also comes with a reflective glass back body. The smartphone will be available in three different variants – 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 32GB, and 4GB + 64GB. It sports a metallic frame with 2.5D curved glass on the front and rear.

Apart from the dual front cameras, the specifications of the Honor 9 Lite are similar to the recently launched Honor 7X. On the front is the new FullView display with Full HD+ resolution. The device offers 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the front and rear. It also runs on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with the highly customized EMUI 8.0 skin on top. The Honor 9 Lite will be available in Black, White, Blue, and Silver color options.

Coming to the pricing, the Honor 9 Lite with 3GB RAM is priced at 1199 Yuan. On the other hand, the 4GB RAM variant with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage costs 1499 Yuan and 1799 Yuan respectively. The device will go on sale starting December 26th in China. As of now, there is no information about the availability of the Honor 9 Lite in the Indian market.

Latest: Honor 9 Lite is Now Officially Launched in India

After launching the Honor 7X and Honor View 10 smartphones in India, the company now came up with a new mid-range smartphone called Honor 9 Lite. As seen on the Honor 9i, the new Honor 9 Lite also comes with a total of four camera sensors. It sports a metal frame with a 2.5D curved glass on the front and rear. The Honor 9 Lite offers a 5.65-inch FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

The company also partnered with Paytm to offer 1-touch payment gateway access for their users.

The smartphone is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM variant. It will be available in Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue, and Glacier Grey color options.
