Honor 8C Phantom Blue Edition to Launch on April 23

The Honor 8C which was launched in October last year is going to come with a new Phantom Blue color option will be launched on 23rd April for 899 Yuan (approx Rs. 9,200.) The same information was shared on the companies Weibo account and nothing is known about the global rollout of the same as of now. Prior to this, the device was available in Platinum Gold, Magic Night Black, Nebula Purple, and Aurora Blue color options.

The successor of the Honor 7C features a 6.2-inch HD+ display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution giving 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it has an Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 Processor chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. The handset is available in 32GB as well as 64GB storage options which can be extended via microSD card slot if the user wants to have more storage (up to 256GB).

Furthermore, the Honor 8C came out of the box with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with the companies own EMUI 8.2 on top. As per the optics, there is a 13MP camera with LED flash and f/1.8 aperture size and it will be accompanied by a 2MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture size. On the front, we can find an 8MP selfie sensor along with a LED flash. The device measures 158.72 mm × 75.94 mm × 7.98 mm and weighs 167.2 grams.

To power the handset, there is a 4000mAh battery and supports dual 4G VoLTE connectivity. To enhance the security levels, there is a fingerprint sensor on the rear and this new color option should be just a bait to get this device as there are many devices that came into the market which offer better specifications in the similar price range.
