Back in March, Honor launched its most affordable dual camera smartphone called Honor 7C in China. Tomorrow, the company will be launching the Honor 7C along with Honor 7A in the Indian market. Both these devices will be exclusively available on Flipkart. Even the recently launched Honor 10 flagship smartphone is also sold via Flipkart. The Honor 7C will be competing with the upcoming Redmi Y2 smartphone from Xiaomi.
The Redmi Y2 will be the same Redmi S2 that was launched in China. Just like the Honor 7C, the Redmi Y2 also offers dual cameras on the rear.T he Honor 7C comes with a metal unibody design and sports 2.5D curved glass on the front. It features a 5.99-inch FullView display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and 3GB/4GB of RAM.
It comes in 32GB and 64GB storage variants and includes a MicroSD card for expanding the storage up to 256GB. In terms of optics, the device comes with a 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Both the front and rear cameras are accompanied by a LED flash. It is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery and supports up to 10W power input.
The device Honor 7c comes with face unlock and also a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear. It measures 158.3 x 76.7 x 7.8 mm and weighs 164 grams. Talking about the Honor 7A, it comes with a polycarbonate body and sports a smaller 5.7-inch HD+ display. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor and sports 2GB /3GB of RAM. In the camera department, the Honor 7A sports a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
Both the Honor 7A and Honor 7C runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 out of the box. Even with the smaller screen size, the Honor 7A also sports the same 3,000mAh battery as seen on the Honor 7C. Connectivity option includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge of the device.
