Earlier this month, Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ smartphones. The company will be launching these newly announced smartphones along with Galaxy J6 in India on May 21st. According to our exclusive source, the Galaxy A6 will be launched with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and the Galaxy A6+ with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Talking about the pricing, the Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ will be retailing for Rs. 18,990 and Rs. 22,990 respectively.
The Galaxy A6 devices are announced in Black, Gold, Blue, and Lavender color options. They come with metal unibody design and Infinity display. While the Galaxy A6 comes with a 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display, the Galaxy A6+ offers Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display. Apart from different screen size, both the devices look very much similar. The Galaxy A6 is powered by Exynos 7870 and offers 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
Coming to the Galaxy A6+, it packs Snapdragon 450, 4GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. Talking about the cameras, the Galaxy A6 sports a 16MP autofocus rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 16MP fixed focus front camera with f/1.9 aperture. On the other hand, the Galaxy A6+ sports 16MP + 5MP dual rear cameras and a 24MP single front camera. Both the devices run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with Samsung Experience UI laid on top.
The device sports rear-facing fingerprint sensor and also supports face unlock. There is also support for Samsung Pay for making mobile payments.
