Honor 20 & Honor 20 Pro Smartphones to Launch in India on June 11th

Honor has already confirmed to launch the Honor 20 series on May 21st in London. Now, the company is sending the ‘Save the Date’ emails for the India Launch. Both the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro smartphones will be coming to the Indian market on June 11th. Apart from the leaks and rumors, there are no official details revealed about these upcoming flagship smartphones. However, the newly leaked press renders confirm the Honor 20 smartphones to come with quad rear cameras.

Talking about the Honor 20 Pro, it sports 48MP primary sensor with f/1.4 aperture, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, an 8MP telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Just like the OnePlus 7 Pro, the Honor 20 Pro also offers 117-degree field-of-view and 3x optical zoom. However, it additionally comes with a macro sensor. Both the primary and telephoto cameras are equipped with OIS.

Coming to the quad camera setup on the Honor 20, it packs the same set of cameras as on the Pro variant but the telephoto sensor is replaced with a 2MP depth sensor. Just like the newly launched Huawei P30 smartphones, the upcoming Honor 20 smartphones also sports 32MP selfie camera on the front. As per the leaks, the device might sport a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display that offers a higher screen-to-body ratio of 91.6%. With the Honor 20 series, we might finally see AMOLED display on flagship smartphones.

Under the hood, the device will come powered by the 7nm Kirin 980 octa-core processor. It is the world’s first SoC to feature Cortex-A76 core, Mali-G76 GPU, and also dual NPUs. Since there is no fingerprint scanner on the rear, the Honor 20 will be coming with an in-display fingerprint scanner. While the earlier rumors mentioned the device to sport punch-hole display, the newly leaked images revealed the complete bezel-less display and a pop-up selfie camera. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details about the upcoming Honor smartphones!
