Earlier this year, HMD Global introduced the new X-series by launching the smartphones with notch displays. The X-series is only limited to the Chinese market and the company already launched Nokia X6 and Nokia X5 budget smartphones. Both these devices are available in the global markets as Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus. Now, the company is teasing to launch a new X-series smartphone in China on October 16th.
We expect the company to launch the Nokia X7 smartphone on that day. The teaser image also confirms the device to sport dual rear cameras with a ZEISS lens. While the camera setup from the teaser image looks similar to the one on the last year’s Nokia 7 Plus, the LED flash is now moved from left to right. As of now, there is not much information available about this device. The Nokia X7 should be hitting the global markets as Nokia 7.1 Plus.
HMD Global also scheduled a launch event on October 11th in India. The company is expected to launch the Nokia 7.1 Plus smartphone on that day. The teaser video of the upcoming smartphone from Nokia India confirms the long camera module to hold the dual camera sensors along with LED flash. We should be getting more clarity once the company is done with the India launch. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
